Title: Remote Managemente
Post by: jrbilodeau on January 15, 2008, 07:41:59 AM
Would it be possible to add a remote management feature to the DNS-323. I think that this would be a great feature as it would let you troubleshoot the DNS-323 remotely aswell as create ftp users remotely. A feature that i wish i could be doing right now. also i think it would be a good idea to use sftp instead of ftp since it is more secure.

The DNS-323 only has 1 interface, thus remote management simply requires giving your DNS-323 a public address or forwarding the ports in your router.

Simply forward a desired port to port 80 at the IP of the DNS-323. Simple.
