I am on the latest beta firmware (08) from Dec/2, and have installed the BT app. Is there anyway to "uninstall" the app?

Open the WEB menu of your DNS - Advanced/Add-Ons
At the bottom you have a table with all installed apps.
Each app has a delete button in the line.
First stop the app and then delete it here.

My add-on list is empty, but torrent is installed..
any ideas? I upgraded from 1.07 where I had torrent app already.. so it looks like when I upgraded, I automatically got it.. now I dont see it in the addons list.
When I try to install it again, it fails..
any ideas?

So you still have installed the "old" torrent client with the easy search utility.
Don't know whether it is also possible uninstalling it via easy search.
You can restore the DNS to factory defaults and the "old" torrent client disappears from the web menu.
(Tools/System menu)
But I do not know, if this completely removes the client - I don't use it.
Last option would be to delete/format both disks and start with a clean system.
Hope you have backed up everything.

If the app doesn't appear in the list, you may be able to delete the BT folder tree from the root of Volume_1.

Thanks! That, together with rebooting the box worked!

Good thing, that's all I could think of. :D
