Hi,
i'm running PS3 version 3.15 and DNS-323 ver 1.07. I can connect to the DNS but can only go 3 folders deep. I keep getting error DLNA 2101 and DLNA 2110.
any suggestions? i've power cylced both the PS3 and the DNS several times... sometimes the PS3 doesn't see the DNS at all even though all computers on the network are able to access the DNS without a problem.
thanks

check for special characters like ' and @ in the filenames, once you remove them and do a manual refresh which will take a long time all should be good

I've checked and there are no dirs or files with those characters. Are those the only two special characters I need to look out for?
How do you do a manual refresh? Do you mean to power cycle it?

To do a Refresh - follow the instructions in the manual found on the CD that came with your box. Page 36 "UPnP AV Server". ;)

hey visionary, no those are not the only 2 characters, i don't know them all but those are 2 of them ... as for the manual refresh, it is under the upnp config area ... depending on how many files you have it could take hours ...

Thanks for the suggestions... Here's what I did In the meantime.
last night I downgraded the dns to firmware 1.06 and power cycled the dns and ps3 however predictably this did not help. But then this morning I turned it on and everything worked perfectly... I can't seem to find a good reason for the change but I am greatful that it works, hopefully it stays that way
