Is there any way to fast forward faster than 2x? I know you can do a time skip but that is not the easiest thing to do. Also is there a way to do a 30 second skip? I think these would be great features to add if not already there.

Using the number pad on the remote you can jump to different playtime percentages in a video. You can press the 1 key to jump to 10% and 5 key to jump to 50% etc.. This function is available on firmware 1.05

Is there anything less than 10% since a one hour video would be 6 mins?
-
No there is not. You will have to just FF to the point in the video.

I think you'd do better to disable the horribly ff/rew and enable the search function. Granted the remote that comes with the Dlink is a little non-responsive, but with a universal it's pretty easy to hit search 2-0-0-enter to jump to the 2 minute mark.

this is an awesome tip. now, if I could just get the FF to go 8x, to quickly seek inbetween the 10% intervals, it would be perfect.
Next Firmware release?
Which is when, BTW?
