Title: End of Life for Dir 330??????
Post by: teknocat on January 02, 2010, 10:43:42 AM
Was looking under firmware to see if newer was available. the router was listed under "end of life" products. Already?  I still don't think all the kinks are worked out of the 1.12 firmware. Any idea if and what might be  replacing it???  (a gigabit N version would be nice.. maybe with 8 ports....) Although i like the fact the d-links support both ipsec and pptp, I always thought the dir-x30 routers were kind of.....duds (sorry, but  I still prefer my di-804hv. I can connect to it both with ipsec and pptp, and it is behind another router. YMMV.)

I I don't know where you saw it under end of life products, but I have no information about any upcoming EOL'ing the DIR-x30 routers.
