I got my new router and the only thing I did was go into the manual wireless setup and change the encryption type. Every single option gave me this error saying "Changing wireless security settings may cause Wi-Fi protected Setup to not function as expected." I tried every single combination of options in there and could not get anything to work. I can only see the wireless signal when the encryption is set to wep, but even then I still get that error.

As far as I know it's not an error but simply information. Be aware that you can never connect with "N"-speeds if you use WEP. You need to use WPA/WPA2 with AES encryption for this to work.
What network adapter do you have?

In the Router Configuration pages go to :  Advanced > WI-FI Protected Setup.  Uncheck the enable box and you should see that message go away.  It's not really needed.

I have 2 laptops with draft N and a desktop with a wireless g card. They can only detect it when the encryption is wep. Also, I have tried disabling wifi protected but did not help at all. My router is version A4 and I am using firmware version 1.32NA.

You're either running XP <SP3 or your wireless drivers are outdated
