Title: Urgently need help: Packet Forward
Post by: juju0920 on January 07, 2010, 02:34:43 AM
Hi,

I am totally new to firewall stuff. I urgently need some advices on my question:

There is one IP which is provided by the ISP, but I have 2 servers which listen to different IP packet.

IP provided by ISP: xxx.xxx.xxx.115
Server1: listen to TCP port 80
Server2: listen to UDP port 5000

The virtual IPs for Server1 and Server2 need to be the same ( = xxx.xxx.xxx.115).

How can I set DFL-210 to forward any IP packet with TCP port 80 to Server1, and those packets with UDP port 5000 to Server2?

Regards,
juju

Please see the below FAQ.

This will guide you through forwarding a port to a single server, simply define different services for your two sets of rules you will be creating and you will be there.
