Title: Help! error code 115 while formatting raid 1 DNS-323 v1.08
Post by: ttchad on January 07, 2010, 01:01:44 PM
I woke up one morning and found the RAID degraded. Called Western Digital and they sent me a new drive out right away. I slapped it in before realizing that it is a 2TB instead of 1TB like the previous drive. I first tried with auto rebuild and woke up the following morning with a pink light for the 2TB drive. Now after I reboot it for auto rebuild I get the formatting failure  error code 115. I get error code 114 when I try to format the 2TB buy itself. It does not matter whether it is ext2 or ext3 format.  Do I need to ship this 2TB drive back or is their a work around for this?
