Title: DWA Hardware Malfunction

I just popped it into my laptop the other day and it worked perfectly I took it out and gave it to my buddy now he gets a hardware malfunction when he tries to use it. It lights up for a bit then stops completely, and I tried re installing the program with the new drivers and still it won't work. Anyone got any ideas?

Time to get a new adapter, it does have a warranty for this right? Check and get d-link to replace your adapter.
