I'm sure there's a handful of you all that RMA'd your A1 DGL-4500 for an A2.
Currently I'm in this predicament. My A1's wireless connectivity hasn't lived up to what I was hoping for. I've tried multiple Firmware versions, settling on v1.15. Its fairly stable with few errors, but still, wireless signal strength isn't so great.
So those of you former A1 users who are now using A2 routers...how much of an improvement was the change?
Please share your experiences.
Thanks in advance.

Can't help you as I don't use wireless but dlink isn't as likely to give you an a2 since they released the 1.2108 fw. You should call them and tell them how poorly your unit is performing and see if they'll swap it out. If that doesn't work you'll either just have to live with poor wireless or buy another brand of router.

I would try Beta 03 or 08 FW. I'm using A1 hardware and currently enjoying it greatly. The v1.21NA firmware that is posted on the main web site is not stable and does create problems. Use the Beta's.
