Title: Can't use 11n with the dir-625
Post by: Thomson-m on January 12, 2010, 01:43:58 AM
Ok so I live in the basment of a house and the the people up stairs have the 625 but I notice that it says I'm not using mode 11n and I can't figure out how to change that..

Now I have a dir-615 that I use for my media server to my ps3 and it does say that I'm usong 11n.. I can't for the life of me figure out why it works for one but not the other.

Any help???

Thanks

I hate that this thread has gone so long without a response. All but one of my devices connect with G. I have a newer laptop that connects with NG, but my Dell XPS M1710 has a built-in wireless N that -should- work and doesn't.

What really got me was the WUA-2340 (Wireless N USB) that I bought at the same time as my router also connects G. What the heck?

i hope you found what yoiu are looking for, but if you haven't, then just so you know, the WUA 2340 is a Rangebooster G, not N.  My issue is that Win7 keeps BSOD on its driver, AGUx64.sys

If you still have your 625 i recommend setup with G exclusive, and to encrypt your WiFi.
