Title: Mac, upnp, ps3 and dns-323
Post by: ramkitty on January 12, 2010, 02:45:10 PM
I am running a dns-323 w/firmware 1.07. I use this primarily to stream via upnp to my ps3. Recently we got a mac to replace our old laptop which died (hardware failure). I noticed that the files I uploaded from the mac to the dns seem to not stream giving the error file type not supported. I would be able to play them on the mac fine.

I have copied a known working file that I had just finished watching on the ps3 to the mac where it played. After copying back to the dns I got the error file type not supported.

I have not done any further research into the problem yet but what may be the problem?
pls spare me the its a mac bs

ps, I have the dns working as a time machine backup which is badass
