What happened to the console gaming section of the forum?, I see it has been removed.
Previously I was using a Dlink DSL-G604T modem/wireless router with two xboxs playing callofdutyMW2 online. There were no major problems with gaming, however with the G604T I could not get both xboxs to have open NAT status simultaneously. The consoles were either both moderate or with port forwarding one was open the other moderate and also occcasionly status went to strict on on console, making it difficult to get games. After connecting DGL-4500(A2/1.14) to the DSL-G604T with default wireless router config setup as per installation CD, which automatically enabled gamefuel. Both xbox's now come online with Open NAT status every time, and the online gaming experience seems to be slightly improved in terms of lagging etc.

Ya they removed it. I talked to the new forum mod for our group today. I will repost the gaming and gamefuel rules tomorrow and they will make it a Sticky.

lucky. when i use my router for gaming on the ps3 my NAT keeps saying NAT type 3?! I would like to change the NAT type but i dont know how. I think my modem might be the problem though, because its got a cord that is connected to something which bypasses my alarm system at my house. If you have any solutions to changing the NAT please respond soon.

What kind of ISP modem/service do you use? Cable, DSL, Wireless? If DSL then theres a good chance that your DSL modem incorporates it's own router that needs to be shut off and the modem needs to be put into transparent mode so that it passes through all network and NAT information to the 4500 so it can do all the proper routing. I've seen this on several DSL modems as of late and just had to do the same process with my buddies DSL modem here in town. I've loaned him my 2nd 4500 and noticed the same thing. Once we did that. The 4500 was good to go and gaming on his console was smooth and seemless. Let us know what you have. If your on DSL, call ur ISP and talk to them about putting the modem in to transparent or bridged mode and that you want to use your own router. They can and will help you with this if needed. If your on Cable, Most Cable modems don't include a router. I would continue to the link below>
Until we get the sticky for PS game consoles posted, review this post here:

A few days ago i changed all my settings to mirror the suggested firewall settings in the gamefuel 360 sticky... now my xbox seems to have trouble connecting. Before when i would sign in all i had to do was click on my gamertag and it would sign me right in, but there was a small bit of lag in my games... now when i click on my gamertag from the dash it automatically says i cannot connect. I have to go from there to "test connection" and wait for that to say successful and then all of a sudden i'm technically connected to XBL, then i have to back out and click on my gamertag again so it knows its me... very weird. ???

I would suggest you to recheck the sticky and revise your settings. I just want you to make sure the settings are set up according to the thread/sticky. Well other than that if you are still experiencing issues just repost here and we will try our best to help you.
