I have had the DGL-4500 for 8 months for the first 5 months working pretty good but the last 3 months it locks up constantly sometimes 2-3 times a day. I am on 1.12 and afraid to upgrade to 1.15 but want to know if this will fix my problem. I have 2 wireless Vista laptops, 1 Wireless MAC, 2 wireless XP Desktop machines, XBOX 360 and WII. I am really struggling with this and was going to purchase another NON-D-link router but see they all are having similar problems. Suggestions?

goto 1.13, and then turn off most of the logging and see what happens. The logging has been one of the issues (at least with me) that causes people to want to throw it out a window.
I am on 1.21 (beta something) and it was totally AFU until I disabled most of the logging... I am over 30 days without a lockup or reboot!
::) ;D

Have you done a factory reset on the router and then check out the Gaming and Gamefuel settings? I have been using those settings for a while now. I just got my buddies v1.02 FW on them the other nite and he's been happy. I would try a full on factory reset and see how it goes. Make small changes or simple things that you need. Review my post. Might help you out. If it doesn't, try updating the FW to the next one that you can get, 1.14 or 1.15. Don't go to 1.21 at this time. What HW version so you have? A1 or A2?

I have not done a factory reset and I just saw your sticky on the Game fuel today when I posted this message. I do have a question for you, I do have XBOX wireless so do I need the WISH setting turned on and if so what priority should I have set.
My Hardware version is A2.
I also will be adding another XBOX in a month and that will be wireless too what should I configure for that?
Thank you!

I would try not using WISH. My buddies son's xbox is on wireless and he's not using it, it's disabled. I would try disabling it first. Since I don't have any xboxes on wireless I don't have much experience with WISH, however I presume the WISH would be used for streaming of video feeds like netflix or other streamed media devices. I don't think it will do anything for gaming. I would ask Sesca for additional info about WISH and using it.

I turned WISH off last night but yes I do use netflix streaming wireless too. I haven't tried Netflix since I turned it off I will have to give it a try to see if I have problems.
I will try your gamefuel settings this weekend when I have more time and not so many people in the network.
Thanks!
