Anyone got confirmation whether or not DIR-601 works with OPEN WRT?

There's a nascent discussion anout whether DD-WRT works on it, but nothing conclusive yet.

Since DIR-601 is still not referenced in DIR index, which proximate model# worked for you?

i am running a 601 with openwrt Backfire 10.03.1 final. works great. installed umurmur on it and runs like a champ.  make sure you use the squashfs version.  here is a link to the directions.
