One thing I noticed yesterday is that there may be problems when switching user and the other one doesn't log out. Basically shareport has been modelled as a single user system but win7 is multiuser. Anyway shareport lost contact and loging in and out didn't help. Didn' have time to investigate anything more.

I was using a DIR655 with Win 7 and shareport was working for a few days just fine and then it would recognize the printer but would say the printer was offline.   Tried resetting the 655 and it would then work for a time or two and quit again.   I finallly replaced the DIR655 for other reasons (would not work with an LG BD390 Blu Ray Player) and plan to just buy a wireless printer share device.   That will be my last D Link router.

@jtsuser

I share your frustration, this seems to be a common complaint with the DIR-655.

Windows 7 x64, DIR-655 A4, 1.32na, Shareport 1.10. The Printer spits out 2 or 3 blank pages for every page printed, when it works. I had months of trouble free operation when using only XP PCs but now it's back to not connecting to the printer unless I reboot the router.  >:(

Is anybody from Dlink reading all the comments on this site? Reading some of the responses from Dlionk I think that whatever we write and complain here will not help. One has to open an official support ticket? Is there any way to do that in the net? Some links to click? We need to get the messages to Dlink the official way.
