Title: Canon MF5750 Printer - Can't get it to work even as printer only

I bought the DPR1260 knowing that my Canon MF5750 laser multifunction printer was not on the list. I expected that would mean that I would have difficulty doing things such as scanning over the network. I did not anticipate that I would not even be able to do basic printing from it. Has anyone else been successful? If so what did you need to do.

I would appreciate any help as printing on an older HP ink jet is killing me.
