I have vista 64 ultimate and my DWA-552 doesn't seem to be able to reconnect after resuming from standby. I tried many different driver versions with no luck on this issue :-(

Hi CadErik,
This is why, it is always recommended that you Shutdown the computer rather than putting the computer in Standby mode.
And to make matters worse, I saw where Microsoft was thinking about an Operating system for 128 Bit Systems.
D-Link doesn't have it right for 64-Bit Systems.

Please report back if this helped at all.... I am reluctant to believe your problem is this simple. More than likely you have more problems than you realize.

After waking up the DWA 552 has a yellow sign - any suggestions?

Hi CadErik,
I means that it has not fully reconnected to the Router. Reboot and see what happens. If it doesn't connect after a reboot, something is wrong.

Reboot always works - yellow is in the device manager not the network

Hi CadErik,
Is the yellow in the Device Manager for the card before and after you reboot the computer? You have a Vista 64-bit Computer, which I don't have, and can't test.
Have you upgraded its drivers?
I have a 32-bit Computer with Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 and Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit computer. I don't put the computer into Standby at all.

The yellow mark only appears after resuming from standby other than that, it works perfectly. I have a DWA-552 on another computer running Vista 32 bit and it works without a glitch.
Also this computer was resuming from standby without issues on Win XP.
I suspect a driver issue. I'm considering moving to Win7 Home 32bit.
Erik.
