Title: Need help dlink 4500 setup for xbox
Post by: Sulayer on January 25, 2010, 01:19:45 PM
OK is SPI firewall should be enable or disable? Because mines is disable.

Dynamic Fragmentation should be enable or disable? Because mines is enable and I have comcast high speed and my xbox 360 works with it.

Dynamic Fragmentation does not work or will connect correctly to XBL if it's enabled. As for Advanced Wireless settings, there only changed if you are using wireless to play on XBL. If your xbox is connected wired, then don't worry about them.

Still confuse so dynamic fragmentation works for me why disable it btw I have comcast high speed. Does Dynamic fragmentation make everything smoother and less lag because I do play kids over seas like Europe and other country. So disable it if it works for me and my xbox 360.

Well, if it works for you and your not seeing any connection, lag or playing issues, leave it. I need to give it a try since I have updated. I have just kept it off since finding that some people can't get connected to gaming services correctly with it ON. Maybe DLink has resolved this in later builds of the FW. How is everything else doing? Good I hope.
