Title: Confusing Differences Among Ralink Drivers
Post by: Bulldog on January 27, 2010, 07:50:16 PM
What is the difference between the Ralink drivers offered on this web page:

http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=1 (http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=1)

and the Ralink drivers offered on this web page:

http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Windows.html (http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Windows.html)

What's particularly confusing is that these two web pages offer different driver version numbers for the same hardware.

The first one is newer  ;D

The second link is their old update page, I don't think they will maintain this site any longer.

Many thanks for your help.

I'm pleased to provide corroboration for your reply.

The Press Release sections of both websites [ralinktech.com and web.ralinktech.com] indicate that the URL  of the Company's website is www.ralinktech.com.

In addition, I summoned up my courage and called Ralink's R&D center in California. I was told that drivers should be downloaded from www.ralinktech.com.
