Title: DPH-140S factory reset without web access
Post by: bluray on January 28, 2010, 02:03:12 AM
I'm sorry to make that post this way, but there is no topic about DPH-140S. THe only thing I need is to reset this phone to Factory default without accessing to web interface. I accidentaly enabled the VLAN and now I'm unable to connect to the phone via web browser. Even when I set the IP address manually, I cannot access it, although the phone seems to be connected to the SIP provider (but it doesn't work).
Is there a sequence to reset the phone to factory default setting via its own keypad?

Edit: Problem solved, I realized how to set up VLAN on WinXP Pro and the I was able to access the phone via web interface and fix the settings. Nevertheless the question remains. Is there a way to perform factory reset without the web config interface? Thanks.

It is very late but might be helpful for someone

1.       Power off the phone
2.       Press # key & power On
On post mode menu dial *#168
          Then reboot
