Title: D-Link Thank you
Post by: sideloaded1 on January 28, 2010, 11:54:07 PM
D-link is a great company. The new firmware adds more security to an already rock solid product. I've had my D-link 655 a2 since 2007 and it still is one of the best routers I've ever owned. The HNAP security exploit was blown out of proportion by the internet security media who always says the sky is falling. Even though the exploit only worked on the LAN side D-link took swift action and patched the firmware to ease everyone's fears. They are a company to be admired and that produces firmware after firmware with fixes and new features for a product that is nearly 4 years old. I will recommend D-link to all my colleagues and will continue to vote with my wallet and buy D-link for all my networking needs. They don't have to set-up a forum for users but they do out of their own pocket to insure users can get quick responses and help with any small problems they may encounter with the great D-link hardware. I commend the company and the moderators here for all their hard work over the years and I hope D-link is recognized as one of the best networking brands in the world.

I'm grateful too for the SecureSpot protection for my family on the network. No one else seems to be doing this. Great product!
