Title: Change DNS Servers
Post by: clermont on January 30, 2008, 07:46:18 PM
I'm pulling my hair out.  I've looked thru the setup screens on the 615 and can't find where I can change the DNS servers in the setup.  Am I blind and missed it?  Can someone please help me out.

Thanks

Clermont

I want to do the same with mine however the boxes for the DNS address are greyed out.
What do I need to do to be able to change the DNS address?

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.

Disable Advanced DNS Service under Setup/Internet/Manual if you have this option.

firmware is 3.11NA
hardware version (as reported through the admin panel) is C1

OH SNAP, look at that, I unchecked the box and it ungreyed the dns boxes.

I swearr I tried that before and nothing happened.
