Title: Share the usb port for printers and external hds
Post by: lazzaro4000 on February 03, 2010, 06:51:27 AM
Hi.

Are there a "simple" way to hack the usb port in order to share it between printers and external hds ?
"Simple way" stands for: no telnet access, no script usage and so on. Just plug the peripheral (printer
or hd) and play.

Thanks.

You have to wait a while, with final firmware 1.08 D-link will most likely deliver a shareport app.
With the appropriate tool on your machines you can use the USB port for shared hdds or printers then.
