Title: What are active sessions? Are they our problem?

I am trying to help my small town library with connectivity problems. There are several hundred active sessions listed on the router. These are there even when all machines are off except for the one checking status. Are these causing problems?

I have the same problem.
What is the problem with this router? Are there any from the company who now the answer, please?
