Title: Updated firmware - can access internet, but not router
Post by: klitmoeller on February 03, 2010, 02:00:17 PM
I have upgraded til firmware to DIR655A4_FW130EUB08, but after upgrade I cannot access the router at all, have tried at 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.2.1 (whitch is the IP I originally changed the router to).

But my internet-ccess through the router works (by cable).

Is it possible to find the routers IP, or access the router somehow?

Any ideas?

Kindly,

Klitmoeller

Push reset button on back and router should go back to default IP.

Open command prompt and type ipconfig

Default gateway is the router IP.

Now I found out, it is not at all the firmware that is the problem, it is the router, when shaking the router all lights starts flashing, when holding it at some positions the lights all stop lighting, and at other some works......

This was why internet-access works but not access to the router.....

I have had problems with the router, loosing contact to WLAN and so on, it seems as if this is a monday-model.

Back to seller.

But thanks for the help.
