Title: upgrading from 1.02 to 10.3, does it keep the disk data?
Post by: nsxtas on February 05, 2010, 12:45:58 AM
hi, i noticed on the product download section for the new 1.03 firmware site the "always backup you data" mumbo jumbo. now, my question is, WILL the upgrade clear the current disk data or is it just there for legal reasons?
i.e the data should still be there except something exceptional happens.
thanks
Martin

My data was still there after firmware upgrade.  Probably a "just in case" warning.

I posted the results of my firmware update a while back in this forum ... suffice to say that thank goodness I make backups before any firmware upgrades.
