I have a LG BD390 Blu-Ray that has 802. n draft and the router isn't reading the n part of the player. I also have an internet TV that has 802. N and router is reading both G/N of the TV, IS anybody else having the same problem? is so what is the solution?

I have the exact same set-up as you. I named my 2 channels 2.4, 5.0 different SSID names. I know the DIR-825 will not see the 5.0 band. I have had absolutely no problems connecting the blu-ray to the router. We watched 2 netflix movies last night with no problems.
