Title: BEST SETTING PERFORMANCE FOR DIR 655 GIGABIT ?
Post by: Buffer on February 12, 2010, 08:29:48 AM

Hi !
Could someone  help me to set up a gigabit conection between my DIR-655 and my PS3 please ? . I have a cat6 ethernet cable but sometimes I experiment some lag and when a test the conection on my PS3, the download and upload speed doesnt show any value (it says: error).

In Resume I wish to get the best configuration for this router.

Thanks. !

Hi,

Make sure the ethernet cable is not a "Crossover" ethernet cable....you want a regular old ethernet cable.

Does the PS3 use DHCP for an IP or did you assign one in the PS3 setups ??

Makes no difference which one you use. Auto-sensing....
