Title: Which firewall rules to correctly share the nas folders ?
Post by: lazzaro4000 on February 14, 2010, 04:08:26 AM
Hi.

I'm going to create a firewall rule to share the nas folders with the pc. The firewall rule is related to the sw firewall i'm using (F-Secure). It ask me what kind of protocol to include into the list of permitted traffic share. "All-ip traffic" could be enough or should i consider others too ?

Thanks.

I think that you just include the IP of you DNS-323 in its "Safe Zone"
if theres such a setting in F-Secure...

If you have file/print sharing enabled for your network subnet, that should take care of it.

my dns323 does not update the file list in share folder, even i manually update it, still not updated!!!!!!!
when i reboot the dns323, i have to unplug fromthe network and wait for it completely restarted and then plug to network again for the noetwork to find the dns323.
I using firmware 1.07.  Hopely this can correct when the new firmeare 1.08 is out.
