I suddenly lost connection to my DNS-321 after months without problems. I was in the middle of copying a large file when I lost connection to the DNS-321, but not the network. I can still access the NAS from 2 other computers so I assume it has something to do with the one computer that isn't connecting. I tried rebooting and it still won't connect. Everything else works fine on this computer. I can access the router and the internet. Easy search utility shows up nothing and I can't access the configuration page of the DNS-321.
How could this happen and how can I regain access?
Thanks!

First off, reboot your ailing machine. Next, if that doesn't help, try booting in Safe Mode with Networking and see if that helps. This has the earmarks of a firewall issue...

It's working again. Thanks for the help! Still not sure what the problem was though.

... and Easy Search Utility still doesn't find the unit, but that is probably because the DNS is now password protected.

I can't imagine it not being able to find the NAS at all, but I don't use the EasySearch utility.
