I recently updated to 1.33NA and downloaded the SX-Virtual Link v. 3.3.0. All is working well with my printer, now that I've figured out my router is much happier if I restart it after a device is connected. When I connect my backup hard drive, which I've been using for over a year, I can see the drive and attempt to connect, but my computer tells me it fails to recognize the drive and asks if I would like to reformat it. I'm assuming that this is because the router is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and needs to be a PC format friendly drive.
Does anyone know this for sure? Does anyone have a functioning Mac formatted drive?
I can't reformat the drive because there are too many files on it, so I would have to get a new one.

It should work the same way it does when directly connected to the Mac I think. It emulates a USB direct connection... File format shouldn't matter. Also, have you tried using Shareport version 3.0R1?
Does the same thing happen when you plug it directly into your Mac?
