I bought this router to replace my other DLink router (AirPlus Xtreme G) but unfortunately as other members already said ViaTalk (VOIP) doesn't work behind this router (FW ver 3.11NA). Other members pointed out that FW 3.01 was working so I decided to flash the router with 3.01. But after flashing router is not working, here are the symptoms:
1. Power light comes on (solid)
2. WLAN light is always OFF
3. When I plug in my computer to the routers port, correct port-light turns ON but no IP address is assigned (computer shows "acquiring IP address"), eventually an exclamation mark shows up on the network icon (Windows XP) with Windows notification of "Limited connectivity".
Now I am not able to log-in to the web-interface of the router. I had to use recovery mode (Press+Hold Reset while plugging in Power to the router, Hold Reset key for 15 more seconds until Power light starts blinking) to try flashing 3.11NA.
I tried to reflash back to FW 3.11NA but situation described above persists. Can anyone please tell me what is going on, how I can successfully go back to 3.11NA? Is there any other method of getting into Flash/Recovery mode?

No response? I was hoping actual customer service/technical support from D-Link? Or is this forum for end-users to help each other out as they do in forums all over the web?

Very disappointed from D-Link :(

okay... finally, tried the unthinkable... I was using Chrome browser, after checking out a similar thread (restoring D1) I used internet explorer to change firmware and seems like I'm back in business *phew*
Thanks D-Link for the support!! ::)
