Title: system hangs some mornings
Post by: njoylif on February 17, 2010, 08:31:03 AM
My system tends to hang every few days.  wont respond to ping, http or file share...
is there a way to set up auto reboot every night or something along those lines?  I doubt it exists currently, so can this functionality be added?  everytime I have to kill it, it then has to re-sync the drives which takes about a half a day.

If your symptoms match this topic:

Then you're in the same boat as alot of us.

No cause/solution as of yet.

I had the same problem.
Device freezes after 20-30min.
There could be some reasons for this – but one of them is OVERHEATING.
Check the temperature. I have made my device always to have the speed of the fans at low.
It has solved the problem.
