Title: Wireless is slow
Post by: wakkas on February 19, 2010, 08:07:14 AM
I know there are many threads on this. After applying the final release, my wireless connection was very low and my video streaming from homeserver was jittery and was buffering all the time. i looked at these forum posts and found one person mentioning about QoS. so i checked my router and it was enabled, so i disabled and restarted.

Since disabling QoS, my wireless speed is much better, very seldom hanging while watch video.

IS this known issue? i will try to reset the settings soon and set it up fresh. On my last upgrade i just kept my last settings

just an update.. i have reset my DIR-655 to factory settings.. then i set up my router from scratch and kept the QoS default settings..

then i rebooted and after it came back up, removed the power cord for 30 sec.. then powered it back up.. since this i am getting my 300Mbps with my DSM-750 and 130Mbps wth my laptop that has intel N card.

been very happy
