Hi,
I am on FW 2.02 and I am using the 5.ghz reception with N only network. I got this to work 2 or 3 times (streaming HD
to my 360 without any stutter) but it no longer works. ANy recommendations? I have spent hours trying to fix this.
It only happens during high action scenes. I am coming from a DIR 655 which never got it to work so I was hoping
that the 5.0ghz would help. Again - it worked twice but I can't replicate it consistently.
Also - I don't see any settings for Wish or transmission rates. I am getting a 140m reading on the status.
Finally - would a b/g device on my 2.4ghz network slow down my N on my 5.0ghz or are they separate and have no impact on each other?
Any help would be appreciated.

what are you trying to stream to your XBox. I have a DIR-825 and stream lots of video to my XBox and it doesn't stutter.
If you are in a wireless congested area, you might try changing your radio channel, most routers default to the same channel.
I have a Linksys dual band ethernet bridge and have it set to the 5 Ghz band. On the output of the bridge, I have a small 5 port ethernet switch. I have my XBox, my desktop computer, my Dish Network receiver, and a NAS drive all connected to the switch.
In fact, last night, my wife was watching a movie from our Windows Home Server via the XBox. I got on my computer and watched the same movie on my computer. Neither of the movies stuttered or rebuffered, the TV or the Computer.

I am streaming .mkv files to the xbox. They play fine on my computer. I am also conencted to a fios modem, so the
825 is really a switch at this point (no DHCP enabled). I have tried changing channels, which helped but I can't get it
to consistently stream. I have a ton of wireless networks so I am using the 5.ghz. All other videos work fine (sd, 720, etc)
Again - I bought the 825 and sold my 655 b/c the 5 ghz option. Do you have any suggestions for settings? Supposely, I
should remove GI short which I did. Also - would having a 2.4ghz running with b/g clients bring down the speed of my 5.0ghz
network to the g/b speed?
