Title: Adding DIR-825 to existing DGL-4100
Post by: NCBuyer on February 23, 2010, 07:17:04 PM
Greetings.  I think I recall a printed page that came with my recent purchase of the DIR-825 on how to connect it as just another device on my LAN.  Does anyone know what I am referring to or know where I can locate a copy of that paper?

I already have a DGL-4100 and would like to connect the DIR-825 to it with its own IP address, no DHCP, and I think that piece of paper explained how.  I seem have to misplaced that piece of paper.

Thanks!
NC

The connection should be LAN to LAN, Change the IP Address of the seconds to 192.168.0.2 and disable the DHCP Server of the second router.  ;)

Doesnt really work.  I changed the IP to 192.168.0.2 but the wireless doesnt work and the DIR-825 can not be accessed via its IP address.  Its basically not there.

Any ideas?
