I've just bought the DIR-825 (fw: 2.01EU Fri, 12, Jun, 2009) and I want to stop my kids from using certain websites. I've listed some sites and activated the Access Control, defining MAC addresses to their PCs. This does however stop their internet access completely!! It only comes back again if I turn off Access Control, which was one of the reasons I "upgraded" to a new router!!!
Is there a proper solution to this problem?

Just list the web sites you want to block in the WEB SITE FILTER under the ADVANCED TAB, you do not need ACCESS CONTROL for that. I use ACCESS CONTROL with a policy that locks out the kids computers from the Internet between 11pm and 8am. Policy's can be constructed in the TOOLS TAB under SCHEDULE.
