Title: DIR 855 rev B - Wireless N 5.0ghz shows 49% signal strength? Right next to it!

My xbox n adapter is RIGHT NEXT to my 655 wireless router and it still shows 49% under the status for wireless.  Could this really be true?  My xbox seems to show full strength.  Whats going on?  is there a better way to check true speed?  Keep in mind I don't have a wireless laptop and my desktop is not wireless enabled.
