Title: DGL-4500 Firmware 1.15
Post by: Maverick494 on March 02, 2010, 07:54:48 PM
So here is the situation:  I was uploading the new firmware to the router and poof power went out at my house for about an hour.  Now all I get when I go to 192.168.0.1 is this screen that says IIS7 Welcome.  Now on the digital display screen it says the firmware update took and it shows a connected internet, but when I connect a computer it says no internet access.  It is also showing that it is blocking packets like it is a Land Attack.

I am open to ideas here.

Update 3:

It must be a computer issue that is blocking the 192.168.0.1 IP, because using the http://dlinkrouter works and I was able to get it all reset and good to go.

Glad you were able to find the resolution for your issue. If anything, always do a Factory Reset should something get horked like that. Usually the factory reset will set it back to defaults. We even try to include this procedure even after a FW update. Update then factory re-set then you should be good after that. Hope it works well for you.

The hard reset covers a multitude of problems.  I've had to use it a couple of times myself.
