Title: Safari Browser Router Log in Screen bug - Please fix it
Post by: vlj9r on March 05, 2010, 04:30:30 AM
Decided to try the latest 1.22 firmware and I'm surprised to find out DLINK did not correct the Safari Browser bug that forces the user to enter their router password several times before it's accepted.  This bug is not present in v1.15.

Would you please fix it in the next beta release.

does it happen when you hit the Enter key?

I just tried Safari to login to my router to see this for myself.

If I click the Log In button, everything works fine.

If I press Enter, I'll usually be told that my password is incorrect. Sometimes I'll be let in anyways.

Safari 4.0.4, which is the latest, I believe.

Yes I have seen that using Safari, hitting the enter button doesn't seem to always make the browser log in correctly. However if I do click on the Log-in button it does every time.

Thank you all for the tip about clicking on the button instead of hitting the enter key.  Works 100% of the time.

Glad that work around is working for you. Ya, I notice that v1.22NA still has the enter key issue. Some where it broke after v1.15. That works. Its been noted in the Requests and Bugs posting. I'm sure they are aware of it.
