Is there a way to make WIRELESS connection faster than a WIRED connection?
Can this be possible or will a wired connection always get better download speed?
Is it possible to limit a wired connection to 1mbps?

No, wired connections can be up to 100 gigabit, and wireless connections are only reaching 5 gigabit. That is internally to your own network of course. Speed out to the Internet is limited by what your ISP gives you. For instance, if you were paying for just 768K download, the speed difference between a wired and wireless connection for a device to the Internet would be the same.
I don't think you can limit wired connections on most routers.

You can make the wired connections slower than wireless. Make sure your wireless devices are connecting at G or N speeds. Then change the ethernet adapter speed setting on your wired PCs from auto-negotiate to 10 Megabit full-duplex. This will effectively reduce the wired PC network speed.
Why you'd want to do this is beyond me, though. :(
