Title: Securespot wont let my computer serf the web
Post by: deleteSP20 on March 08, 2010, 06:54:26 AM
How do i get rid of this program? I think it is slowing down my network too. On one of my laptops it keeps trying to connect to some securespot site and making clicky noises.

I do not know much about computers or netorks but I do know this program is giving me problems. I do not need it. I sent d-link an e-mail about problems I had connecting to it wirelessly. I think it has to do with securespot trying to be overprotective.

Do you by chance have a 2008 MacBook Pro? It might be your fans failing. I just had this exact syndrome begin for me and I kept thinking it was the hard disk ticking away unusually often and found that it was actually the top left fan. Then the right top fan went.
