I just bought this DIR-825 I can't get an internet connection on any of my computers using this router. If I plug one computer into my Speedstream 5667 modem, the internet connection works perfectly.
I've called my ISP tech support, and they've told me that my DSL modem is a "Bridge" and that it isn't possible to access any firmware web-interface on the modem & that the problem is on the router's end.
I'm almost positive I'm not using a PPPoE connection, as I've never ever had to enter any sort of username or password for my internet. Every router I've had in the past, i've set to Dynamic IP (DHCP) and it has worked. However, for some reason, I've tried every setting I can think of in this router and I just can't get it to work with my connection and/or modem.
I know there has got to be some way for this router and modem to work together. There's got to be some setting to get it to work with this "bridge" modem.
Can anyone help me with setting this up? I've got some experience with my home networks over the past ten years or so, but I can't figure this one out.

Bump.
Anyone have an idea?
I should also mention that if I set the router up as Dynamic, with the correct MAC address, power-cycle everything, I can actually get an internet connection through the router for about 30-40 seconds.
So I can do all that, bring up Google or something, and it will load that page. But then I lose my connection immediately after that. It's almost as if once the modem or router sees any sort of internet activity from one of the computers, it blocks it.
