Post by: seger005 on March 12, 2010, 01:14:17 PM
my router has firmware 1.21.  when I try to upgrade firmware, I get the message the most current is version is installed.  is there a trick to getting the upgrade to work?

If you are not experiencing any serious issues with your router, I wouldn't hurry to upgrade.  Read up on some of the issues with 1.32NA and 1.33NA, not to mention the multiple threads posted on how to flash back to 1.2X...

Using the "check for upgrade" or whatever it says button within the Router firmware also told me that there was not a newer version available.  That was after 1.33NA was available non-Beta and I was on 1.32NA.

Just go to the dlink site and browse to a newer version for the router, then download it and follow the instructions.

The router firmware would not find it - I guess ANOTHER bug in the firmware, at least in the 1.32NA firmware.
