Title: internet slows to a painfull halt after a while

my cheapo trendnet died after 4years of work, so i bought the dir-601. did all the wizzard,connected my 3 laptops and a tower. 1 laptop rinning xp(g),1 vista(n adapter),1 win7(n), and the tower equipped with usb n adapter running win7. everyting was working fine, but after awhile the connection slows down to a halt. Upgraded the firmware to 1.01, NA hardware ver is A1. is there anything special i should have done? and i am connected on a cable modem, running videotron provider.

it nice to know how dlink support gives a s***. oh well linksys it is then.

I think we are on the same boat here, because I'm having the same problem with my router.

Same here and then i tried removing my Power cable and then the router wasn't connecting anymore AT ALL!
