Title: What wireless router works well with the DGL-4100?
Post by: kellekev on March 23, 2010, 12:25:58 PM
I have a fileserver in the basement and I would like it to use a wireless connection. I have a wired network hooked up to a DGL-4100. What's a good wireless router that will work the DGL-4100? Thanks!

I highly recommend the DAP-2553.  As you already have a router, the Access Point will expand your existing network to wireless clients without the overhead of another segment.  Should you use a wireless router, you may have issues with clients getting to the fileserver; the router may not pass the broadcast packets for whichever protocol you will be using.
