Title: Adding a second wireless network

I have a spare linksys wrt150 with DD-WRT firmware loaded on it.  Is it possible to use this to add a second wireless network and be able to segregate it's traffic from the DGL-4500.  It will run 802.11b for guests, and some handheld devices like nintendo DS.  Because of the DS, i'm limited to using WEP to restrict access and for that reason, I wish to keep that traffic away from my other PCs since it's been compromised.

I welcome any suggestions.

I'm running my 4500 in N mode only on a separate SSID name. I have an Apple Airport Extreme handling all my B and G mode devices on different SSID name. They are doing quite well. I do have the channels separated between them, ones on 1 and the other is on 11 I think.

I would think even if you do add it on and make connections through it, someone could still break in when those WEP connections are made on the second wireless node, then if that is connected to the main network, its still not secure.  But I suppose you would at least reduce the amount of WEP traffic.  I thought about doing something similar because my old router only had WEP, so if I wanted to use it I'd be limited to that.

Yeah, I wish I could isolate the traffic from the old linksys but I have not figured it out.  I hear the netgear can isolate the individual ports on the back of the router.  I guess I could also get a managed switch to isolate the linksys.
