Post to this thread to JOIN "This router is sucking up tons of my free time trying to get it to function as D-Link says" Club.
Maybe D-Link will acknowledge there is an serious issue with this router....

Stange , mine works very good.
3pc, 2laptop(1laptop-wireless), ps3-wireless, xbox360
and sometimes torrent download with standad settings in Utorrent.

and sometimes torrent download with standad settings in Utorrent.
2 laptops running W7 n (both drop signal and have paltry DL speeds, unless I reboot the router for an hour of expected speed then back to a crawl of >1.5)
2 smartphones with WIFI turned off because DIR-655 can't manage them
1 Wii disconnected (see smartphones)
1 PS3 disconnected (see Wii)
1 Zune HD Dock disconnected (see PS3)
