Title: Random Lag Spikes for long periods of time, it is D-Link Router... but what?
Post by: Thados on March 29, 2010, 12:23:34 AM
Ever since I bought a DIR-615 I've noticed random lag spikes for long periods of time, of which have nothing to do with my modem (when I plug directly into the modem the latency is normal).

Here's a screenshot of one of my stats pages:

anyone have any ideas why it's doing this?

Update to the latest 3.12NA firmware!  It's saved a lot of heartache on my part (including the ever present sudden lag and dropping of connections).
